ONE TEAM, ONE SPIRIT, ONE CARNIVAL
A Musical Food Carnival 2009 was established in the mid year 2009 by a group of friends who have much skills and experience.
The original concept of Musical Food Carnival 2009 was from a young man, Kenny who suggested having a food and fruits fair in Universiti Utara Malaysia. Hence, he invited Sylvia as his team partner to organize this fair. During the invitation for more members to become the organizer, they found a group of friends have a passion to organize music festival and a grand singing competition. After discussion, eventually they come out with an idea to combine the 3 events together.
Thus, this is how Musical Food Carnival 2009 was created and existed in Universiti Utara Malaysia. These 3 events have its titles which are:
(i) Polestar Melody Singing Competition (named by Sam)
(ii) Thou Beat (named by Karr)
(iii) Cuisine Fiesta (named by Kenny)
The main objectives of Musical Food Carnival 2009 would like to let the visitors to know more about the food varieties like different races have their own traditional food. Besides that, MFC ’09 provide a chance to the music lover and share their common hobby with each other. Moreover, MFC ’09 are trying to search and motivate the talented people bravely show out their hidden talent. In the carnival, visitors will enjoy themselves with many extreme fun and interesting games or competition. Not only that, visitors may have a chance to win many prizes.
